Basic HTML using Notepad, with Blog report

this is my individual report.

This assignment was a little hard for me as i did not know how to use the blog well enough. It is actually my first time creating with a blog after so many years of using the computer but i got this opportunity to create one with a group member of mine Elaine and we finally got to create a blog ourselves with the help of friends and our lecturer in class. We had difficulties at the beginning as we did not know how to create a blog but we both look through the written notes given by Ms.Sha in class and we both stayed back after classes to do this assignment together. We used the Notepad to create our HTML codes to be published in our blogs. From creating this blog i learned how to even post pictures and linking my web host bravehost.com to my own blog.

I had difficulties most of the time doing this assignment. I had some problem with the coding of the HTML as a little mistakes the coding with not have an outcome in our blog as how we want them to look like from the views of the public. At one point where we actually just missed out one letter in our coding and the picture that we wanted to post did not appear on our blogs. From here we have learned that everything in the notepad has to be very detailed and specific.

I had not much problem choosing my webhost as most of my classmates were using bravehost.com which was recommmended by our lecturer. I had a problem uploading my picture in the webhost as i saved the url address from my friendster account. I typed in my url address into my notepad but the picture did not appear in my webhost. Therefore i use the way where Ms.Sha thought us during the first few lesson about posting pictures and coloums. The end result came out good and there you go i had a picture of me in my webhost now. And now into creating my blog, although it was my first time creating a blog and it was actually abit difficult for me. I was way fortunate as I had friends from my previous school that had been blogging since they were young. I got some guidance from them and they taught me how to create a blog myself in blogger.com. I also did some research myself and followed the instructions given blogger.com and i had no problem creating this blog. It was easier posting picture in this blog as they have the function where you can just click and upload the file into this blog.

In conclusion, I am proud of myself that i am able to create a blog myself although i was abit blur at the beginning of this assignment. I can now create a blog anytime i want and maybe teach someone who does not know how to create one. This is definitely something i have learnt through out the whole learning prossess.If i had the chance to work on this assignment again, I would definitely put more colours and pictures into my webhost. I would make make this web a little more fancy, neat and tidy.

Its my first blog and ill work on it real good!.
